Getting Cricky Design Team Post - "Sweet Thing" Treat Box

Hi, everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted and I have missed you all terribly. I've had so many things going on in my life recently...including moving into a new home!...and I simply had to take some time for myself and focus on getting my new life organized. I haven't had any time for crafting over the last few weeks but the majority of our move is finished and I have almost settled into my new craft room. I have missed crafting terribly and cannot wait to start creating again. Thank you all so much for your sweet emails and messages. It means so much to me that ya'll have thought about me and have continued you to wish me well. Ya'll are such a blessing to me!

I have resumed my position on Krystal Andrew's Getting Cricky Design Team and I am so happy to be back! Today, I am featuring a stamp from the Coffee and Tea Treats Tag Along Sentiment Set.

This is an older project of mine but it's one of my favorites! The treat box was cut from the Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge at 10.5"

I used two pieces of acetate that I saved from a Cricut cartridge casing to line the windows and they worked perfectly.

The tag is also cut from the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge at 2" and stamped with K Andrew's Coffee and Tea Treats Tag Along Stamp Set.

I threaded some twine through a large, gingham button, tied a bow and adhered it to the door to create a wreath. I also added a crystal gemstone to create a doorknob.

The door, the window boxes and the flowers are all popped up on foam for added dimension.

Finally, I used the Martha Stewart Monach Butterfly Punch to create some butterflies and accented them with stickles.

Products used:
Cricut cartridge: Sweet Tooth Boxes
Martha Stewart Monach Butterfly Punch
K Andrew's Coffee and Tea Treats Tag Along Stamp Set
The Twinery - Maraschino Twine
Studio G - Gingham Buttons
Paper: K&Company - Kelly Panacci
