Fantabulous Cricut Design Team Post - "Owl Friendship" Card

Today, at Fantabulous Cricut our challenge them is to use any label shape (other than a plain circle) on a project.

This is a standard 5"x7" card. The owl is cut from the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge and accented with flowers created from the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge. The label shape is cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge.

The accent piece was created with the Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace border punch...

...and the stamp is from K Andrew's Positive Thoughts stamp set.

Products used:
Cricut cartridges: Create a Critter, Elegant Edges and Mother's Day Bouquet
Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace Border Punch
K Andrew's Positive Thoughts Stamp Set
Paper: DCWV - Old World and Recollections cardstock

Oh Sweetie, this is just spectacular!!! I am in love with the colors you used, especially on the owl. I am so stuck in using plain cardstock for my critters, but you have really inspired me with this one. It's just gorgeous and I have to have one! Hope I feel good soon so I can give it a go... Really, one of the best cards I've seen. You did an amazing job!

That is truly a very cute card. I was just surfing around and happened to get to your blog but i must admit - it has made my day. Keep working. You effort is too good. The layers and the colors give the card an unexpected source of life.
