Christmas Tree Place Cards

Hi, everyone! It's been a while since I've posted but I wanted to take a few days off to celebrate the New Year and my birthday. My husband had a huge surprise for me this year and gifted me the Cricut Imagine! I couldn't believe it! Of course, I had to play with it right away so I whipped up these place cards for my parents' Christmas party. I only had a few hours before the party to create these but I think they turned out pretty cute for my first Imagine project.

I used the Cricut Winter Frolic cartridge for the Christmas tree and filled in the layers with patterns from the Cricut Imagine More cartridge. The frame and background border piece are cut from the same cartridge. The frame was cut in layers, backed with cream cardstock and stamped with everyone's name. I added a bit of faux stitching on the Christmas tree and frame and popped both cuts up on foam for extra dimension.

Product used:
Cricut cartridges: Imagine More, Winter Frolic
Paper: Colorbok cardstock

Very cool! I have that cartridge too. I love that tree :)

Santa brought me the Imagine and I was hoping to use the technique you used; but I haven't figured it out just yet.

Super cute place card!
