Disney Album Series - Album Cover Page

I've gotten a lot of requests for Disney-themed projects...particularly Disney-themed scrapbook layouts...so I've decided to start a series of scrapbook layout featuring Mickey Mouse and his many friends. I always like to begin themed albums with a cover/title page so that's what I chose to begin this series with.

This is a standard size 12x12 single page layout featuring one 4"x4" photo mat.

Almost all of the cuts are from the Cricut Mickey and Friends cartridge. The Mickey ears were cut at 8.5" and the Disney logo was cut at 1.25".

The year was cut from the Robotz cartridge at 1"...

...and the Mickey and Minnie characters were cut from the Mickey and Friends cartridge at 5.5".

I added doodle-stitching to many of the cuts for added detail and popped the characters up on foam for extra dimension.

For my project, I wanted to share the cover page of my Project Life album! I recently began this project and have been having so much fun with it. I love the concept of scrapping everyday photos and recording our everyday lives.

I wanted the cover page of my album to reflect my crafting style and I wanted to include some of my favorite die cuts and embellishments...

Of course I had to include this sentiment from K. Andrew's Positive Thoughts Stamp Set. This is one of my all time favorite sentiments and it worked so perfectly on this project!

Getting Cricky Design Team Post - "All the Way to the Moon" Halloween 12x12 Single Layout

Today, at Getting Cricky's Simply Sunday Challenge, our challenge is "Happy Fall, Ya'll!" Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to craft for, so I decided to create a cute and cheeky Halloween layout.

This is a standard 12"x12" Single Layout featuring one 2.5"x3.5" photo mat and one 4"x6" photo mat.

The background frame was cut from the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge at 11.0" and the title was cut from the Happy Hauntings cartridge at 2".

The witch was cut from the A Child's Year Cartridge at 3.2" and the clouds were cut from the Mickey and Friends cartridge at 1" and 1.5". The moon was created by cutting a standard circle at 3" and inking it with black ink.

The haunted mansion was cut from the Happy Hauntings cartridge at 7". The grassy hills were cut from the same cartridge at 3" and 3.5"

The sentiment comes from the K Andrew's It's Valentines Stamp Set and is one of my all time favorite sentiments! The banner was hand cut. Finally, all of the pieces were inked with black ink and I used a white gel pen to add some doodle stitching.

Getting Cricky Design Team Post - "Welcomed With Love" Card

Today, I have created a sweet, baby card featuring K Andrew's "It's Valentine's" Stamp Set.

This is a 5"x5" square card. All of the patterned paper and die cuts have been printed from the Cricut Imagine Baby Boutique cartridge. I love how sophisticated these images are.

The frame was cut at 3.8" and the crown was cut at 2.5".

The card was accented with light pink twine and the images were popped up on foam for extra dimension.

Finally, the inside of the card was finished off with coordinating paper and stamped with a beautiful "With Love" script stamp from K Andrew's "It's Valentine's" Stamp Set.
