"Make a Wish" Birthday Card

Edit: This project was featured at Birthday Sundaes!

This project was created for Birthday Sundaes' Cakes and Cupcakes Bloghop

The scalloped shaped card is cut from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge, the background circle is cut from the George and Basic Shapes cartridge and the frame is cut from the Wild Card cartridge.

The cake is cut from the Tie the Knot cartridge. I used pink glitter paper for the background layer and it turned out so sparkly and pretty. I wasn't sure how glitter paper would cut in my Cricut but even the tiniest cuts on the tag came out perfectly. I'll definitely be incorporating it into more of my projects!

The tag was cut from the Sweet Treats cartridge and stamped with a Studio G clear stamp.

The flowers were cut from the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge and embellished with pearls. All of the cuts were lightly inked for more definition and the cake and tag were popped up on foam for added dimension.

Products used:
Cricut cartridges: Wild Card, George and Basic Shapes, Tie the Knot, Sweet Treats and Mother's Day Bouquet
Studio G Clear Stamp
Paper: DCWV Baby Girl and Colorbok glitter paper

This is so pretty. Love the flowers with the pearl centers. My favorite thing about all your projects is how you combine your colors and patterns. Are you tired of me telling you that yet? lol! I am love with this paper pack. The last time I was at M's I had so much on my list and said next time I come back I will pick that up. I do that a lot. I HOPE they still have some left when I go shopping:)
