Young Crafters Unite Blog Hop - "Made with Love" 12x12 Double Layout

Today, I am joining the Young Crafters Unite Blog Hop! If you are visiting these blogs in order, you're last visit should have been to Deborah's blog at dominodebi.typepad.com/ and you're next visit should be to Vicky's blog at www.clips-n-cuts.com.

I have been crafting for almost all of my life. I have always enjoyed Fine Arts and Crafts and last year I discovered a strong passion for papercrafting! I enjoy creating scrapbook layouts, cards, mini albums and 3D projects. The theme of this blog hop is "Favorite Things" and my very favorite crafting tool is my Cricut die cutting machine. I purchased my first Cricut at the beginning of my crafting journey and I have used it almost everyday since.

This is a layout that I have created using my Cricut and the From my Kitchen and Nursery Rhymes Cricut cartridges. This is a 12"x12" double layout featuring four 3.5"x6" photo mats. I found this really cute set of stickers on clearance at the craft store and decided to incorporate them on a layout; I popped them up on foam for added dimension and I really like how they look with the Cricut cuts.

The title was cut from the Nursery Rhymes cartridge, doodle stitched, layered and popped up on foam.

The photo mats and tabs are cut at 3.75". The tabs have been popped up on foam so that a picture can easily be adhered to the photo mat. I think the tabs will make really cute journaling spots...just large enough for a few names, places or dates.

The refrigerator and stove are cut at 3.75" and 2.5" respectively...

...the apron is cut at 4"...

...the hot pad is cut at 1.75" and the oven mitts were cut at 2".

The timer was cut at 2.75", the cookie jar was cut at 2.5"...

...and the rolling pin was cut at 3".

Continuing with the "Favorite Things" theme, each of us is sharing a favorite project that we have created in the past. A few months ago, I crafted this 3D Eiffel Tower and it quickly became one of my favorite projects. If you're joining my blog for the first time, I'll hope you'll stay and check out some of my other creations!

I encourage you to leave comments on all of today's blog posts because randomly selected commenters who post before Monday, July 4th at 11:59PM CST will have a chance to win $20 from Simon Says Stamp, your choice of a stamp set from Paper Smooches or your choice of stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget that the next stop on this blog hop is Vicky's blog at www.clips-n-cuts.com!
