Patches of Pink Design Team Post - Red, White and Blue

Today is my first day participating on the Patches of Pink Design Team! The theme for this week's Link-Up Party is Red, White and Blue. I created this fun layout for a few of my niece's 4th of July photos. This is a standard sized 12"x12" Single Layout featuring one 4"x6" photo mat and two 2.5"x3.5" photo mats.

I cut this sweet little boy from the "A Child's Year" Cricut cartridge. I've been wanting to use this cut for months and I think it turned out adorably.

The title was cut from the "Kate's ABCs" cartridge; this is a great, classic font.

I created this sweet little pinwheel by hand (with a good bit of help from my sister) and added a star-shaped brad to the center.

I hope ya'll will join us for the Patches of Pink Link-Up Party! Can't wait to see your projects.

Products used:
Cricut cartridges: A Child's Year and Kate's ABCs
American Girl Crafts Star Border Punch
Paper: DCWV - Nantucket and Recollections cardstock

Pretty. I always have trouble coordinating pattern papers. You have a good eye for that.

I love this layout...so many details like the star border punch and the star brad on the pinwheel really make this special. I also love how you offset every other letter in the title. Awesome!

i love the color and the simplicity, for me this make it more nice to look than the one with lots of color. it irritates my eye sometimes.
