"Spring Birthday" Card

I don't know if it's because I've been so sick lately or if it's because I have a serious case of the Winter Blues but I've been in a huge crafting funk, lately. I'll start several different projects, get frustrated with all of them and then not finish anything. But my best friend's birthday is today so I knew I had to push through my funk and complete at least one really cute birthday card. This is what I came up with:

The flower is from the Florals Embellished cartridge. I was worried that these images were a little too intricate and would be difficult to cut but I found that as long as I used a heavier-weight cardstock, the images were very easy to cut and layer.

The flower was cut at 3.75" and embellished with tiny gemstones...

...and the sentiment frame was cut from the Lacy Labels cartridge at 1.5".

Hopefully, I'll start feeling better soon and have some new projects for you guys soon. If you have any projects or themes you'd like to see, please let me know! I could definitely use the inspiration.

Products used:
Cricut cartridges: Florals Embellished and Lacy Labels
Paper: K&Company - Sweet Nectar and Recollections cardstock

All of your projects are truly amazing, the extra details in your work are what makes it so spectacular. Feel better soon because I have missed your creations. I would love to see something "Disney" themed.

This is gorgeous! I love the bright colors! I know what you mean about being in a funk! I was feeling the same way a few weeks ago and I couldn't bring anything to life on paper that was in my head. I have 5 LOs sitting off to the side right now because I can't figure out what went wrong or what is missing! It's frustrating but just keep at it! You're so talented!
