One of my best friends is getting married this Spring and she asked me to make the invitations for her bachelorette shower. I had twenty invites to make but all the cuts were relatively simple and once I had the measurements figured out, it was very easy to make my cuts and put the invitations together assembly line style.
I started with 4"x5.5" gatefold card and layered the outer folds with hot pink cardstock. The cardstock was embossed with the Cuttlebug Textile Texture embossing folder. The background frame was cut from the Lacy Labels cartridge at 4.5"
The corset was cut from the Tie the Knot cartridge at 4". The second layer was also embossed with the Cuttlebug Textile Texture embossing folder and the top layer was embossed with the Cuttlebug Candy Cane Stripes embossing folder.
The inside folds are lined with the same designer paper and the inside of the invitation was lined with cardstock. I printed all of the invite information out on white cardstock and layered it on top of the pink cardstock.
