On Vacation Beach Theme 12x12 Single Page Scrapbook Layout

 

Today, I am excited to share my first project for the My Cricut Craft Room Design Team. I created a fun, scenic beach layout to use as the cover page in a beach-themed vacation album that I am creating. This is a standard 12"x12" single page layout featuring one 4"x4" photo mat.

 

 

The photo frame was cut from the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge at 6.25". The sun was cut from the Pack Your Bags cartridge at 5"...

 

 

...and the title was cut at 2.7".

 

 

The palm trees were cut from the Life is a Beach cartridge at 7.5"...

 

 

...the chair was cut at 3.25".

 

 

The crab, starfish and shell were all cut from the Pack Your Bags cartridge at 1.2".

 

 

The umbrella was cut from the Life is a Beach cartridge at 3".

 

 

The sand castle and beach ball were both cut from the Pack Your Bags cartridge at 2" and 1.8" respectively and the coconut cocktail was cut at 2".

 

Finally, the bikini was cut from the Pack Your Bags cartridge at 3.4"

Cherry Blossom 12x12 Scrapbook Layout



Today's layout is a little different than my normal style. I wanted to challenge myself to create a simple layout that featured a clean design and only one or two paper piecings. I really love the way this whole layout came together.

 

This is a standard 12"x12" layout featuring three 3"x3" photo mats. The back ground circle measures 8.5" in diameter and the photo corners measure 1.5" each.

 

 

This gorgeous cherry blossom tree is from the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs file called Cherry Blossom. It is cut at the original size. 

 

The blossoms have been inked with light pink and red ink to give them a dimensional effect and accentuated with tiny crystals. 

 

The title was purchased from the Silhouette online store and cut at 2.32".

Mushroom House 12x12 Single Scrapbook Page Layout

Today, I'm participating in a sketch challenge over at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Design Team Blog!

 

This is a standard 12"x12" layout featuring one 4"x6" photo mat. 

 

 

All of my paper piecings are from Little Scraps of Heaven. The tree was cut from the Sweet Serenity file and the house was cut from the Mushroom House file.

 

 

The mushrooms, deer, squirrel and bunny are from the Gnome in my Garden file...

 

 

...and the sun is from the Happy Sun file.

Disney Album Series: Mickey Mouse 12"x12" Double Scrapbook Layout

Here is the second layout in the Disney Album Series! This layout features Mickey Mouse and his dog, Pluto. This is a standard 12"x12" double page layout featuring two 4"x4" photo mats and one 4"x6" photo mat.

 

 

The grass was created using the Fiskars Grass Border Punch...

 

...and the photo mats were created using the Cricut Elegant Edges cartridges. I used my Gypsy to alter the proportions of the photo mats; the square photo mat is 5.25"x5.25" and the rectangular photo mat is 5.25"x7.25".

 

All of the other cuts on this page were cut from the Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge. The house was cut at 5.5", the tree was cut at 7", the fence pieces were cut at 2.5" and the driveway was cut at 5.2".

 

Mickey and Pluto were cut at 5.7"...

 

...the title was cut at 2.2"...

 

 

...the sun was cut at 2.5" and the clouds were cut at 1.4" and 1.2". Finally, the reclining Mickey was cut at 4.2".
